CSOs include - Non-governmental organizations, institutions that manifest interests and will of citizens towards well-being and development

  • ✔ Community-based organizations
  • ✔ Village associations
  • ✔ Environmental groups
  • ✔ Women empowerment groups
  • ✔ Non-profit associations
  • ✔ Faith-based organizations
  • ✔ Co-operatives
  • ✔ Not-for- profit agencies
Eligibility Criteria - Civil Society Organisations
  • ✔ Should be able to develop, execute and mobilise the entire project seamlessly and work with various partners
  • ✔ Should have atleast 2 years of existence in either one of the area of:
    • ♦ Public health
    • ♦ Food and nutrition
    • ♦ Education
    • ♦ Training
    • ♦ Consumer awareness
  • ✔ CSO should be registered with NITI Ayog (as above)
  • ✔ Operating either directly or through associated grassroots organisations in over 10 districts or entire State
  • ✔ Outreach of minimum 5000 beneficiaries in a year
  • ✔ CSO has not been blacklisted by any donor/ funding agency/ grant making organisation/ statutory authority



Activation agencies include -

  • ✔ Marketing agencies
  • ✔ Mobilisation agencies
  • ✔ Events management
  • ✔ Brand activation agencies
  • ✔ Digital Agency (digital conversion of the content)
Eligibility Criteria - Activation Agencies
  • ✔ Should be able to develop, execute and mobilise the entire project seamlessly and work with various partners
  • ✔ Should have a minimum of 1 year of existence as well as expertise in mascots creation, activation, marketing and promotional strategies,digital content
  • ✔ Threshold of covering 5,000 beneficiaries across categories (e.g., schools, malls, places of interest, events etc.)



Training bodies include -
  • ✔ Organizing workshops/lecture series in association with FSSAI
  • ✔ Awareness building activities/ workshops across communities/ residential colonies
  • ✔ FSS training for small-scale and petty businesses (e.g., street vendors)
  • ✔ Training in schools
Eligibility Criteria - Training Agencies
  • ✔ At least 3 yrs experience on National/International Level Training on Food Safety, Hygiene and Nutrition
  • ✔ Should have a minimum of 1 year of existence as well as expertise in conducting trainings for wide segments (e.g., domestic workers, community training, training for schools)
  • ✔ Threshold of covering 5,000 beneficiaries across categories
Eligibility Criteria - Professional Associations
  • ✔ Engaged in activities in the areas related to food & nutrition/ public health, education, training as well as facilitate activities related to mass consumer awareness
  • ✔ National, State or Regional level coverage with a membership of at least a 50 members
  • ✔ Extension of the partnership to the local/ regional chapters to engage local bodies
