NOBULL CrossFit Games Team Division Results, Leaderboard 2022

The 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games have begun. The individual and team divisions dusted off their cross trainers on Wednesday, August 3, the opening day of the Games. The Adaptive and Age Group divisions will open their games on Thursday 4th August, which will be a much needed rest day for individual and team athletes.

The first day of the competition was full of obstacles – and not always of the programmed kind. The first individual event, Bike to Work, seemed to go off without a hitch on the women’s side. However, there was more than a little confusion in the men’s individual division, where several athletes appeared to miss a round on the bike.

While the Teams division – also launched by a cycling event called Biker Bob – hoped to avoid similar accidents, no such luck was in the cards. Rain and lightning overhead in Madison caused a two-hour delay between the first and second heats of team event one.

Events two and three were originally scheduled to take place on the first day, but were moved due to weather. The first and fourth events took place on the first day. Here are the Biker Bob and Pegs & P-bars results.

Note: This leaderboard will be updated after each event, and should not be considered final until after the Teams competition wraps on Sunday, Aug. 7.

Event 1 — Biker Bob

Push Bob down the field

3 rounds for time:

  • 1-mile bike (laps outside the stadium), M1F1
  • 252-ft Bob push, M2F2 (unloaded)
  • 30 synchro toes-to-bars, M2F2
  • Switch

After the final toes-to-bar, push Bob to finish

Time cap: 40 minutes

Event 2 — Strong

For load:

  • 1-rep-max jerk, F1 (2 attempts)
  • 1-rep-max front squat, F2 (2 attempts)
  • 1-rep-max jerk, M1 (2 attempts)
  • 1-rep-max front squat, M2 (2 attempts)

Team score will be the total sum from each member’s heaviest successful lift.

Event 3 begins immediately after Event 2.

Event 3 — Fast

For time:

  • 1,600-m run (as a team)
  • 1,600-m run (2 members)
  • 1,600-m run (2 members)

Event 4 — Pegs & P-Bars

For time:

  • 15 synchro Worm burpees
  • 15 parallel bar dips (A1)
  • 3/2 pegboard ascents (A4)
  • 15 synchro Worm burpees
  • 15 parallel bar dips (A2)
  • 3/2 pegboard ascents (A3)
  • 15 synchro Worm burpees
  • 15 parallel bar dips (A4)
  • 3/2 pegboard ascents (A1)
  • 15 synchro Worm burpees
  • 15 parallel bar dips (A3)
  • 3/2 pegboard ascents (A2)
  • 15 synchro Worm burpees

Two team members will hold the Worm while the others do their dips and pegboard ascents.

If you’re not bogged down in the rain in Madison, WI, you can watch the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games online. The CrossFit Games app, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and Pluto TV Sports Channel will all be offering live coverage of the women’s and men’s Individual and Team Divisions. There will also be select coverage of the Adaptive and Age Group Divisions.
