Sita Ramam Movie Box office Collection Update, Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur: Sita Ramam is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language period romance film written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur (in her Telugu debut), Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth.
Set in 1964, Lieutenant Ram, an orphan army officer serving at Kashmir border, gets anonymous love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi. Ram is on a mission to find Sita and propose his love.
Principal photography commenced in April 2021 and took place in Kashmir, Russia and Hyderabad. The film has music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, cinematography by P. S. Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. It was released theatrically on 5 August 2022.

Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur’s period romantic drama Sita Ramam had a great first weekend with a staggering collection of Rs 25 crore at the global box office. According to the makers, the film remained stable at the box office on Monday and promised decent collections. The positive word of mouth in favor of the film is said to have resulted in high footfall for the evening and night shows in most centres. The Muharram festival is expected to boost the film’s collections.
The Hanu Raghavapudi directorial is doing well at the US box office. The film is approaching the $700,000 mark.
Backed by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, Sita Ramam marked the Tollywood debut of Mrunal Thakur. The film received mixed reviews upon release.
