The Food Safety and Standards
Authority of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Government of India is pleased to announce 'SNF Fellows'- A
Program for students pursuing Bachelors or Master's degree
Programs in Food Technology, Nutrition or related fields in a
recognized academic institution.
The SNF Fellows would need to
work on enrolment & subsequent engagement with the schools. They
would act as the ambassadors and mentors for FSSAIs SNF@School
initiative.SNF Fellows offers a meaningful opportunity for
undertaking a structured and impactful project under CSR or other
voluntary initiatives.
SNF Fellows would be expected to pursue a
meaningful, year-long project to mentor and build capacities of
schools in India for promoting and adopting safe and nutritious
food habits amongst its students, teachers and the related
community. SNF Fellows would be shortlisted and selected by their
college and on successful completion of their project at the end
of one year, they would be certified by FSSAI.
Your
Role:
Civil
Society Organisations and NGOs, Corporates, Associations,
Development Partners or Philanthrophists who wish to participate
under voluntary or CSR initiatives may enrol themselves first on the platform.
FSSAI, in partnership with domain experts has created
the project pack including a roll-out plan and content, which is
placed in the public domain and can be accessed free of cost to
run the project. The Organisation volunteering to take up the
program will be responsible for its overall supervision and
financing. The initiative may be run in convergence with other
awareness initiatives by interested organisations & Corporates who
wish to participate.
